Plenty of Topps

I hope everyone ensured to make the best of mother's day yesterday. Our couple kids are young enough they couldn't bother faking getting along, so it was a typical day for the most part....no real surprise there unfortunately (though they are generally great kids that simply lack the ability to get along with each other at the same time).

Anyway, to the real topic at hand...we all collect cards for varying reasons. One of mine is the surprise of what is out there - opening new packs for example. So days like this with the Santa Lot 20, I have to remember it is the fun of surprise if nothing else that I enjoy. As the results below show, it isn't for great cards that add to my collection, because not much of that here...

Highlights:

Guess it is the default highlight since it is the only hockey card, and one I didn't have, and it is Brett Hull so a star player as well, even if it is for a high end set like Pro Set Platinum.

Lowlights:

Yeah - don't need any of these and have a couple now. Worst part (maybe) is that I can't even see what the card redemption was for...

The rest
Traders:

Lots and lots of football today. The Leaf 2004 set of rookies and stars is growing on me the more cards I see, even if the front design is basic and back has no added photo for the rookies.
